Breaking Down Communication Silos in China
As the Chinese economy continues to grow at a staggering pace, business relationships with the Western side of the world. This means that there is a dire need for English language skills in organizations across China, as well as a high acceptance of its importance for business growth.
Corporate learning has also developed rapidly in China, with many online learning solutions from other countries now being available also in China. With a high value for independent learning and a strong emphasis on lifelong learning, Chinese learners also have a deep interest in learning English and other western languages. Most of the classical courses in China have fixed class time-tables, while e-learning programs offer flexibility and almost unlimited resources, which is why they are becoming a real alternative.
Speexx has seen great results with customers in China, because of the novelty factor in the Speexx method of learning. The pedagogical model combines self-paced and disciplined learning with collaborative learning and digital learning tools, appealing to both the disciplined nature of the Chinese style of learning, as well as the interest towards online, cloud based solutions.
Growing eLearning Excellence in China
The eagerness of our customers to embrace the Speexx language learning model and their on-going support has also resulted in Speexx recently being awarded with the Value Award ‘Learning and Development Solution Provider 2017, in the category Corporate Language Training Solution provider’, by the judging panel of the China Supplier Value Award in Learning and Development.
The award is granted by the Human Resource Excellence Centre (HREC), the largest organization dedicated to HR professionals in China. The award is aimed at showcasing excellence in corporate training and the winners are selected based on information submitted by participants, as well as feed-back from end users, the judging panel.
Jun Zheng, Managing Director of Speexx China comments, “The Chinese market continues to be a major global focus for us and it is a great honor to be held in such high esteem. We are grateful for this recognition and award.”
The award ceremony took place on the 12th of July 2017 in Shanghai.
