The "Movers and Shakers" list is published yearly, since 2009, and includes the most influential people in the eLearning industry.
The latest Towards Maturity ‘Learning Benchmark Report’, released November 2016, has some valuable insights as to why some organizations are failing to realize the benefits of eLearning. Speexx is celebrated as an innovative blended learning provider by the International E-Learning Award Association.
First up was China's 'Brand of the Year Award' which is run by Training Magazine each year. Over 300 organizations submitted projects, out of which 83 were shortlisted for the ‘Brand of the Year’ award. Speexx made it to the final round and secured the award in the ‘Corporate Training’ category. The award ceremony took place in Shanghai in October.
Harsh? Perhaps, but we need to start to show that we have a purpose and can prove the actual worth of e-learning projects. Let's face it, in most companies it can take a virtual act of Parliament to get something like e-learning approved in the first place. And after all the effort we often fail to adequately to show the return on the investment.
