The audit was conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two organizations in 2025 and marks a defining milestone in the professionalization of AI-powered coaching.
As AI coaching rapidly expands as a strategic lever for organizational and personal development, the absence of rigorous, independent quality standards has left buyers, users, and providers navigating an increasingly crowded and unregulated market. ICF Germany is taking a clear stance: professional coaching bodies must not only define the standards for human coaching excellence, but also set clear expectations for responsible, high-quality AI coaching.
A panel of independent experts selected by ICF Germany audited the Speexx AI Coaching Platform using a consolidated framework based on the ICF Coaching Platform Standards, ICF AI Coaching Standards, ICF Best Practices, and the ICF Buyer Guidelines for AI Coaching Solutions. The audit assessed the technical, organizational, and governance conditions underpinning the responsible use of artificial intelligence in coaching contexts — with a focus on the platform’s safety, transparency, and trustworthiness for coaching use.
The expert panel reached a unanimous conclusion: the Speexx AI Coaching Platform demonstrates full alignment with all material requirements — confirming that the platform meets the professional standards for safety, privacy, transparency, and governance required for responsible AI coaching deployment.
