TIMOCOM is a mid-sized German FreightTech company, with more than 690 employees from 40 countries, and offices in Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The IT and data specialist supports customers across Europe as they achieve their logistics goals by providing a road freight marketplace for Europe. More than 55,000 verified customers are connected via the TIMOCOM Marketplace, where they post up to one million international freight and vehicle space offers daily.

Challenge

TIMOCOM needed to support its transition from German to English as the company language, with a phased rollout tailored to job levels. The project required a digital language training provider with the ability to deliver detailed progress tracking. The ultimate goal: ensure that 95% of learners achieve their target English level by the end of 2026.

Speexx proved to be the ideal partner—its digital platform matched TIMOCOM’s international, tech-driven culture. The decision was driven by Speexx robust learning solution, advanced tracking and reporting capabilities, and strong feedback from test users.

Solution

Speexx implemented an enterprise license through the Smart for All program, integrated via Single Sign-On (SSO) with TIMOCOM’s LMS, Cornerstone OnDemand. While English was the primary focus, employees in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary also improved their German skills through the platform. The solution featured customized vocabulary from Microsoft Dynamics and tailored Speexx Manager fields to track English proficiency by job category. TIMOCOM especially valued the seamless technical integration and close strategic collaboration, which enabled a learning journey aligned with the company’s broader goals.

Outcome

TIMOCOM reports strong results: 680 active users, with two-thirds reaching B2 level or higher. Over half of learners (340 out of 660) have already achieved their target English level, while another 120 are just one CEFR level away. Collectively, users have logged more than 11,600 learning hours and participated in 1,600 virtual group sessions. Speexx Manager’s real-time tracking has enabled managers to monitor progress transparently and efficiently. The initiative has been met with enthusiasm and marks a key milestone in TIMOCOM’s company-wide language transformation.
