Greenpeace Commits to Flexible, Continuous Language Training with Speexx
Greenpeace was seeking a more flexible and consistent model for delivering language training to its team. In 2024, it began collaborating with Speexx, introducing Expert Pro and later Speexx Talk™. Since then, learning has become more autonomous and effective, improving internal communication and strengthening a partnership that is now evolving toward new development initiatives.
About
Greenpeace is an international organization dedicated to environmental protection and the promotion of peace, operating in more than 55 countries worldwide. In Spain, the NGO identified the need to provide language training tailored to different employee profiles, with greater flexibility than its previous model allowed. That model presented significant limitations, including fixed schedules, long interruptions, and limited visibility into learner progress.
The objective was to democratize access to learning, ensure continuity, and enable each individual to progress at their own pace. At the same time, Greenpeace required a solution that offered transparency and data to effectively measure employee development.
After evaluating several providers, Greenpeace selected Speexx for its comprehensive approach, broad portfolio of solutions, and high level of customization. The collaboration began in September 2024 and has since become a strategic initiative for the organization.

Challenge
Before partnering with Speexx, Greenpeace was working with a rigid training model that restricted access and hindered progress. Classes were scheduled at fixed times and were paused for extended periods, disrupting learning continuity. In addition, the lack of personalization and limited reporting tools made it difficult to identify real development needs.
Greenpeace required a flexible, continuous solution tailored to diverse learner profiles, one that would encourage active participation and provide reliable data to support strategic decision-making.
Solution
Speexx designed a program that addressed Greenpeace’s needs with a flexible and scalable framework. The implementation began with a combination of Smart and Expert Pro, and quickly evolved to Expert Pro for all users, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience through both individual and group sessions.
The introduction of Speexx Talk™ further enhanced the program, making Greenpeace one of the first organizations in Spain to adopt this solution. In addition, Speexx Manager provided full administrative visibility and detailed reporting, enabling effective tracking of progress and delivering a personalized, continuous learning journey for each employee.
Outcome
The collaboration has delivered strong and measurable results. Currently, 36 users benefit from the full solution, which includes Expert Pro and Speexx Talk™.
Since the launch of the program, 11 employees have used Speexx Talk™ to strengthen their spoken communication skills. Engagement has been strong, with one learner completing 55 hours of training. Participant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding flexibility, variety of learning resources, and the ability to learn independently. In addition, Greenpeace has reduced training costs by 40% compared to its previous model.
The organization has renewed the program and approved new features for 2026, including calendar synchronization. It is also exploring the addition of leadership coaching sessions to further expand its development initiatives.
Outlook
The collaboration between Speexx and Greenpeace is evolving into a long-term strategic partnership. Following the success of the language training program, Greenpeace has decided to extend Speexx Talk™ access to all users and explore a broader development strategy.
Planned enhancements for 2026 include additional platform integrations such as calendar synchronization and the potential introduction of coaching programs. These initiatives will further strengthen the partnership, positioning Speexx as a key partner in supporting the ongoing professional development of Greenpeace employees.
