As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and excellent team leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong customer-facing experience, preferably from a SaaS HCM (Talent Management, E-Learning) company. Furthermore, you have proven experience in closing six-digit projects in license sales. The Senior Sales Manager will be leading a successful team of Key Account Managers, cooperating with Customer Success Managers, Inside Sales and Marketers to ensure Speexx continues to be at the front in our industry. This position reports directly to the VP Global Sales to boost our French market presence.

What you’ll do:

  • Direct responsibility for the sales department and proactively influencing related functions (Marketing, Inside Sales, Services)
  • Being the commercial spearhead for Speexx in the French Market
  • Hand-on negotiation and field activity on large bids / tenders
  • Acting as a role model in Large Enterprise sales, coaching sales managers
  • Close cooperation with the Management team in Germany, being part of the international sales team
  • Analyze business trends and pipeline status, providing feedback to the VP Global Sales
  • Create and execute local growth & territory plan; implement sales governance and operations
  • Identify customer requirements, possible implementation solutions as well as consultancy in line with the Speexx product portfolio
  • Facilitate sales reporting to ensure those in the field have information to make decisions

Your profile

  • An advanced degree in a business related subject
  • Past achievements in delivering yearly quotas in excess of 500k EUR on product license sales
  • A structured way of working and the ability to maintain accurate and timely customer-, pipeline- and forecast data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, further languages are an advantage
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
  • Experience in Large Enterprise segment
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and govern a team
